I am a young Widow at the age of 37. Mother to four wonderful girls 19,18,14 and 7. I lost my husband Bill "BillBo" to Pancreatic Cancer August 24th 2002. He was 36 years young. While spending one of my nights in our bed alone crying my eyes out in the grief phase. I seen WPT on TV it caught my attention. I watched it a few more wednesday nights then I heard them talk about Planet Poker online. I logged onto my computer,went to the site and have been playing every since that was May 2003. After spending many many months in the grieving phase (which at times still hits me like a ton of bricks) (never know when it's gonna hit). I found myself chatting with others while playing online poker and laughing again. The crying was getting less and less. Playing Poker online has been like therapy.It has been rough. But we are doing good. I am learning to find my own way now. What once was a path for two,turned into a path for one and it lead me to something I really enjoy, Playing Poker!!!! I have know clue still how things will turn out. Just gotta take things one day at a time. I was raised and lived most of my life in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky (my home state).Currently live in Indiana (hubbys home state). I am still a stay at home Mom.I went back to work for a bit. But was needed more at home. I was able to still stay at home with the kids financially. Since my husbands death the girls and I have, Honored his memory by particapting in Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society. Last year and this year. Our Team The
"BillBo" Tribe raised over $1000.00 each time. Next year we are going for $2000.00 as our goal.At this moment I really can't explain how much of a moving experince this event is. To see survivors of cancer and the ones fighting it,and to remember those who have lost the battle to cancer. So for my Bill we continue his fight for him to try to help in the battle against cancer and remembering him.

Haven't really won a real tourney for alot of money yet. But when I do WooHoo. Cover your ears!!!!!!!!!!I have made it to a few final tables.First time at a final table was at Planet Poker. OMG was I a wreck,heart was beating, my nerves where shot. When I went out in 6th I was sore for 2days from being so tense. I was so happy LOL to have made it that far.T hen I finshed 2nd at JetSet once in a go points tourney out of 500. Been to the final table a few times there. and a few other sites.My most recent was at pokerstars with WPC finished 4th won $9.00 in stud Hi game ;O)
